This is a community space for Boston area people who love science and are interested in a sister march to the DC March for Science, taking place on Saturday, April 22, 2017 in Boston Common from 2:00 to 4:00! There will also be kid-centric entertainment at the Parkman Bandstand on the Common from 1:00 to 4:00.
The March for Science champions publicly funded and publicly communicated science as a pillar of human freedom and prosperity. We unite as a diverse, nonpartisan group to call for science that upholds the common good, and for political leaders and policy makers to enact evidence-based policies in the public interest. This group is inclusive of all individuals and types of science.
