Northern Berkshire Neighbors Honors Geraldine Shen

Congratulations to Geraldine Shen, who has been chosen to receive a Neighborly, a community recognition award, sponsored by Northern Berkshire Neighbors. Geraldine is being recognized for forming and leading Greylock Together to bring our community together now.
These “Neighborlies” are awarded to people or groups who have made a contribution to their neighborhood/community by doing:
- Neighborly Acts – These people are good neighbors who have helped others out in lots of different ways.
- Young People Taking the Lead – These youth are helping to make their community a better place.
- Community/Business/Agency Support -These agencies/businesses have contributed to help a neighborhood or the wider community.
- Groups Pulling Together -These groups have worked together for the benefit of others.
- Community Health and Wellness –This category celebrates those who have helped to make their community a healthier place to live.
There will be an opening reception, beginning at 5:00 p.m., with refreshments and a chance to visit with others. North Adams Mayor, Dick Alcombright will help with the Award Ceremony. Please bring family and friends and join us for this exciting event.
